Drag-N-Drop

The easiest way to

Move

an

is the use the

drag-n-drop

gesture.

This is achieved by left clicking on an
object
and, while keeping mouse button pressed, drag the source and release the mouse button over the destination
folder
.
The destination will be highlighted if it can accept a drop of the source.
Press the Esc key to cancel the operation.

It is important to note that

that cannot be moved by

drag-n-drop

will be linked.

Objects
cannot be moved between
CellSpace
Servers
or into a
Home Server
. Use a
marker
instead.
The explicit approach, below, is suggested if you are unsure whether if the
object
will be moved or linked.
