Markers

markers
are symbolic connections to an
object
.
  • The underlying connected
    object
    is referred to as a
    marker source
    .
  • They can be used to organize a
    CellSpace
    without moving the
    marker source
    .
  • The
    marker source
    can be present in only one
    folder
    at a time while there can be
    markers
    to an
    object
    in many
    folders
    .
  • Markers
    are used to access an the
    marker source
    from several places.
  • Markers
    are used to reference
    objects
    housed in other
    CellSpace
    Servers
    .
  • This is useful as
    objects
    cannot be moved between
    CellSpace
    Servers
    .
  • Markers
    are especially useful with
    Cubes
    and
    Sheets
    .
  • The marker keeps the location in the
    Cubes
    and
    Sheets
    and will goto that location then the
    object
    is opened.
  • We recommend that
    users
    create
    markers
    under their
    user
    account
    folder
    while they are working on
    Cubes
    and
    Sheets
    .
