Start Here

The installation procedure consists of the following steps with Windows, Linux or Unix:

License Step
: Ensure that you have purchased and have access to an unique .LICENSE file for each Team or Enterprise installation. The Lite version does not require a license file.
Java Step
: Install java version 17 or newer, if you haven't already done so.
Expand the .ZIP File Step
: Expand the .ZIP product file in an installation folder.
Create a Short-Cut (optional) Step
: Create a Windows desktop short-cut to the start script in the installation folder.
Modify the Configuration File Step
: You may have to modify the
application-instance.properties file
to select unique
ports
when there are other applications that use the default ports.
Start the CellSpace Step
: Start the
CellSpace
using the start script or the new short-cut.
Following the On-Screen Instructions Step
: Follow the on-screen instructions.

Expand the .ZIP File Step	-----	The product file is compressed in the ZIP format.
Create a Short-Cut (optional) Step	-----	A start script short-cut is useful with a Windows desktop installation.
Modify the Configuration File Step	-----	Each CellSpace instance requires two network ports .
Start the CellSpace Step	-----	Start the CellSpace instance to complete the installation process.
Following the On-Screen Instructions Step	-----	The CellSpace instance will display a banner screen when it has started successfully.
