Home
Database
With the CellSpace/Enterprise product, a
home
database
houses the
user
objects
for the
Home Server
. The other
objects
are housed in a
primary
database
.
The
CellSpace
Servers
that are configured to use a single
home
database
catalog
form a
security realm
. Once
authenticated
users
can access all
authorized
objects
in the
CellSpace
Servers
in that
security realm
with a single
signon
.
The
CellSpace
Servers
do not have to share a single
home
database
catalog
. Each
CellSpace
Servers
can be configured to have its own
Home Server
. However multiple
authentications
will be required to access all parts of the model.
The
installer
configures a
home
datasource
that connects to the
home
database
during the
installation phase
.
